The process of international accounting convergence standardized by Law 11.638/07 and pronouncements of the CPC - Accounting Pronouncements Committee, and based on international standards, brings to businesses the challenge of preparing their management to adjust their financial statements to the new model, which will take effect as from 2010.

The new accounting rules will improve the quality of information provided by companies, with greater transparency of their operations and the possibility of comparison by shareholders, investors and the market, of financial statements among different companies of the sector. Valuation Methodology

Aiming to provide more informed valuations, we use a combination of existing asset valuation methods, recognized by the market: direct comparative, replacement cost, profitability, evolutive and involutive.

The direct comparative method sets the value of the asset by comparing it with information about similar items in the market. The replacement cost method consists of determining the current reproduction cost of the asset, observing all its original features. The profitability method, in turn, identifies the value of the asset as the present value of future benefits that would result from ownership rights.
